The intensification of the hostilities in Ukraine is posing an immediate threat on the lives of the civilians in the country. As the conflict in the east of the country enters its eighth year, many people are already suffering from trauma and damage.

On Friday the 25 February the Irish government waived the requirement that Ukrainian people need a visa to travel to Ireland. The Government stated that people who are considering leaving Ukraine and travelling to Ireland can come to Ireland without a visa.

We are receiving calls from Irish people having family in Ukraine and looking desperately for help. We are expecting to receive more requests for support.

Our priority is to ensure routes are safe for refugees from Ukraine and that they will receive a warm welcome to Ireland.

You can help us protect refugees from Ukraine. Make a donation now to make sure they are safe and welcome in Ireland.
