National Demonstration for an end to Direct Provision

On Universal Children’s Day there will be a National Demonstration in Dublin City where asylum seekers, refugees and supporters from across the country will repeat the national call for an end to the system that has become known as Direct Provision. Speakers from centres in Cork, Limerick, Sligo and Meath will talk about their experiences in this system and why it has to end.

Where and when?

Gathering outside the Dáil at 1pm on Universal Children’s Day, Thursday 20th November 2014, for speeches, participants will then walk to the Department of Justice on St Stephen’s Green.
