Information and Advocacy Service

Our Information and Advocacy team can offer free and confidential information and advice to International Protection applicants and people from a refugee background on a variety of topics, including:  

  • The Asylum process

  • Direct Provision 

  • Family Reunification

If you have a query, please call our Helpline

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays

10am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm

Alternatively, you can email [email protected] and we will respond to your query as soon as possible. 

If you wish to speak to a caseworker in-person, appointments can be organised for Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please be aware, our office is closed to the public on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you have an urgent query on those days, please call our Reception on 01 764 5062.

Our Information and Advocacy service is supported by the Scheme to Support National Organisations which is funded by the Government of Ireland through the Department of Rural and Community Development.

Our Impact in 2022

  • 1,173 new people engaged with Drop-in Centre Service.  
  • 70 people supported with family reunification applications.  
  • 28 people represented in Afghan Humanitarian Admissions Programme. 
  • 147 people at risk of homelessness assisted. 
  • 24,556 incoming calls to our general helpline and Ukrainian language helpline, a 60% increase from 2021. 
  • 1,363 queries responded to on email. 
  • 197 members in the Asylum Support Network. 
  • 8 Know Your Rights Training sessions run with DLA Piper.
