We are participating in the UK and Ireland Ultimate Black Lives Matter fundraising challenge. The aim of this fundraiser is to support Ultimate teams in the UK and Ireland to raise as much money as they can for charities and organisations tackling racial injustice. Read more
On foot of the Black Lives Matter protests in the USA, the spotlight is also being turned on the issues people of colour face in Ireland, particularly those in Direct Provision. The work carried out by groups such as the Irish Refugee Council is vital in fighting bigotry and systemic racism and working towards equality, diversity and inclusivity in our society and I want to do my bit to help.
