Interns required
The Irish Refugee Council is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join a specialist team dealing with asylum and refugee work. Interns should be able to commit to a minimum of 2 days a week for 6 months. No previous experience of refugee work required but you must have a commitment to promoting the rights of those in need of international protection. There are opportunities to engage in casework and policy work but there is also a need for administrative assistance including reception work.
Please send a CV with a covering letter to Sue Conlan, Irish Refugee Council, Ballast House, Aston Quay, Dublin 2 or by email to info@irishrefugeecouncil.ie by Friday 6th August 2010. Your covering letter should set out why you are interested in working for the IRC and the particular type of work that you would like to be involved in. Please refer to our website for more information.
If you have not heard from us by Friday 13th August, this will mean that your application has not been successful on this occasion. Interviews will be held during the week commencing Monday 16th August 2010.
