Subsidiary Protection
Subsidiary Protection is a form of protection granted to those who are not granted refugee status but are still in need of protection and cannot be returned to their country of origin because of the risk of serious harm being done to them.
You will be at risk of serious harm if you face the following if you are returned home:
1. the death penalty or execution,
2. torture or ill-treatment,
3. violence due to war in your home country.
